The Background

Mildenhall College Academy is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Mildenhall, Suffolk, England. The use of ICT and new technologies is embedded across the school to support the curriculum at all key stages With the growing use of ICT comes the requirement for more Computers within a school, this can have an impact on many schools overstretched budgets.

The Challenge

Mildenhall College Academy had a requirement for a number of additional classroom PC’s and were introduced to Rapid IT via their sister Company LCWS Computer Recycling Ltd. The Solution

The school saw the value for money in purchasing re manufactured HP 8200 Elite SFF desktops with new Kingston solid state hard drives and a 12 month warranty for a fraction of the price of new PC’s. Currently up to October 2016 Mildenhall have purchased in excess of 200 units that are being utilised throughout the school.
